Als Niklaus von Flüe 1467 von Liestal kommend zurückkehrte, zog er sich auf die Alp Chlisterli im Melchtal zurück, bevor ihm vier Lichter den Weg in den Ranft zeigten. Dorthin, wo er 20 Jahre als Einsiedler Bruder Klaus zum vielbesuchten Ratgeber und Mittler wurde.
Einfache Bergkapelle, erbaut im 18. Jahrhundert. 1951 mit einem Glockentürmchen ergänzt.
