Il villaggio di Flüeli è situato su un altopiano a 4 km sopra di Sachseln. Qui nacque Nicolao della Flüe, qui visse con sua moglie Dorothea Wyss e con i figli. I luoghi dove ha vissuto e lavorato sono aperte al pubblico.
